How to Use chance-recenze.cz: Terms

Anyone who visits chance-recenze.cz enters into a relationship with its operator, and these terms govern that relationship. The operator can be contacted by e-mail at contact@chance-recenze.cz.

In these terms, the "website" means the internet pages at chance-recenze.cz: an independent informational project focused on the Chance brand that also works as an affiliate site. A "user" is any natural or legal person who opens the website or makes other use of its content. An "affiliate link" is a link to the pages of a gambling operator or its business partners; when it is clicked, the website operator may receive a commission.

On chance-recenze.cz you cannot open a player account, pay in money or play, and the website does not verify anyone's identity either. Its operator is not a gambling provider under Act No. 186/2016 Coll., on Gambling, as amended. Instead, the website is an independent source of information that publishes overviews, reviews and news about online gambling, with the emphasis on the Chance brand. Everything you read here is informational only. For players, the only binding rules and conditions are those of the gambling operator, which is CHANCE a.s., IČO 28178815, Politických vězňů 156/21, 266 01 Beroun. This company has a licence from the Czech Ministry of Finance, as shown in the MF ČR list of licensed operators.

Trademarks of the Chance brand appear on the website. They belong to their owner; the website operator has no rights to them, and mentioning them here does not establish any relationship between the operator and the owner of those marks. We use the marks purely descriptively, to identify the brand and the products we report on.

The content of the website itself, including texts, graphics, databases, structure and source code, is protected by zákon č. 121/2000 Sb., the Copyright Act, as amended. If you wish to use it other than for your personal needs, in particular to copy, adapt or redistribute it, you need the operator's prior written consent.

In line with the requirements of the Consumer Protection Act (Act No. 634/1992 Coll.), users are hereby informed about the affiliate links on the website. Such a link may redirect the user to the pages of a gambling operator or its business partners, and if the user clicks it, the website operator may receive a commission. The user does not pay any additional fees for this. Affiliate links are not reflected in the content, order or rating of the information presented on the website.

1. The website operator is not a contracting party to legal relationships between the user and the gambling operator and is not responsible for that operator's offers or terms.
2. The website bears no responsibility for the content and availability of third-party pages it links to.
3. Nor is the website liable for any harm or loss arising from the use of information or services of third parties.
4. Information on the website is published with reasonable effort to keep it correct and current. It cannot, however, be ensured that it will always be complete, up to date and error-free.
5. The content is for information only. It is not legal, financial, tax or other professional advice, and the user must verify it in official sources, above all with the gambling operator, before any decision.

The gambling content of the website may be used only by persons over 18 years of age. The user confirms meeting this age condition, and use of the website by anyone younger is prohibited.

The warning we display with regard to Act No. 186/2016 Coll., on Gambling, reads: “The Ministry of Finance warns: Participation in gambling may lead to addiction.” 18+

The website processes personal data in line with the following:

• Legal framework: the GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679, Act No. 110/2019 Coll. on personal data processing, and other relevant legislation.
• Details: the scope, purpose and method of processing are set out in the personal data protection policy.
• Cookies: information on them under § 89 of zákon č. 127/2005 Sb. is part of the same policy.

Which law applies? The legal order of the Czech Republic, in particular the Civil Code and other relevant regulations, for all relationships arising from the use of the website.

Who decides disputes? The general court of the website operator in the Czech Republic.

Is there an out-of-court route? Yes. A user who is a consumer may turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI), Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2, adr.coi.cz. The EU online dispute resolution (ODR) platform has been discontinued and can no longer be used to file a complaint; its former address, ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, is mentioned here for completeness only.

These terms may be changed and supplemented unilaterally; the website operator reserves this right without any time restriction. A new version becomes effective at the moment of publication. The user is obliged to check the current wording of the terms regularly, and continued use of the website after a change means agreement with the current wording.

Relationships not expressly regulated by these terms are subject to the applicable legislation of the Czech Republic. The invalidity or ineffectiveness of one provision does not affect the validity and effectiveness of the others.
