Identity of the Controller

Who decides why and how personal data are processed here? It is the operator of the chance-recenze.cz website, acting as the controller. If you want to know anything about the processing of your data, or wish to exercise one of your rights as a data subject, write to contact@chance-recenze.cz.

Categories of Personal Data

Data processed on chance-recenze.cz fall into three categories:

  1. Data from your message. When you contact us at contact@chance-recenze.cz, we process your email address, the text of the message and your signature if you include one.
  2. Cookies. Details are set out in the part dedicated to cookies.
  3. Technical visit data. Device type, IP address, time of access, browser, operating system and URLs of the pages visited, used for the operation, security and analytics of the website.

We process nothing beyond what these purposes require. Data on gambling, identity verification or payments, and data of Chance players, are not processed on this website.

Recipients and Reasons for Access

Recipient: hosting and CDN provider
Reason: operation, availability and security of the website

Recipient: web analytics provider
Reason: traffic statistics for optimising the website

These categories come into consideration only for the operation of the website and for analytical services. We name specific providers if they are publicly identifiable on the website. We do not provide data to other third parties without a legal basis, nor to unverified entities.

If the Provider Is Based Outside the EU

Will your data leave the EU/EEA? That depends on which services the website uses.

  • Yes, if the website uses, for analytical purposes, a tool from a provider based outside the European Union or the European Economic Area. The transfer is then based on standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR, which protect the data at an adequate level.
  • No, if the website uses no service outside the EU/EEA.

How You Can Influence Your Data

Your position as a data subject can be used in several ways, all arising from the GDPR and Act No. 110/2019 Coll. You can:

  • ask for information on which personal data we process about you and for access to them (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • have corrected data that do not reflect reality (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • request erasure if the situation meets the conditions of Art. 17 GDPR (“right to be forgotten”),
  • seek restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
  • take over your data for transfer to another controller, if the processing is automated and relies on consent or a contract (Art. 20 GDPR),
  • object to processing that rests on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR),
  • withdraw consent where it is the legal basis of processing; the lawfulness of processing up to the moment of withdrawal remains unaffected.

Data Subject Requests

Requests concerning your rights are accepted by email at contact@chance-recenze.cz.

  • Standard response time: without undue delay, within 30 days of receipt at the latest.
  • Extension: by a further two months where a request is complex or several requests have been received.
  • Notice of extension: you will receive it from the controller.

Breaches and Complaints

Do you suspect that the processing of your personal data does not comply with the law? You can then submit a complaint to the supervisory authority, the ÚOOÚ:

How cookies are divided

  • Marketing cookies enable personalised advertising and the tracking of user behaviour across different websites. They are not stored without your consent.
  • Analytical cookies collect anonymised statistical data on use of the website. These also require consent.
  • Essential cookies ensure the basic operation of the website; without them it might not work properly. They are stored without consent, as allowed by § 89(3) of Act No. 127/2005 Coll.
